User Agreement for the Emberwake Realm

Welcome to Emberwake. These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") outline the rules, obligations, and mutual understandings between the user ("you" or "the Adventurer") and the custodians of the Emberwake platform ("we", "us", or "the Guildmasters"). By accessing the Service, participating in gameplay, or interacting with features within the realm, you signify your full acceptance of this Agreement. If you do not accept or understand the following provisions, you must cease use of the Service immediately.

Access to the Emberwake Service: We grant you a non-transferable, limited license to traverse the world of Emberwake for personal entertainment purposes only. This license does not grant ownership of digital assets, characters, locations, or currencies within the game.
Eligibility: Only individuals of legal age in their respective jurisdiction, or those who possess consent from a legal guardian, may create an account and enter the Emberwake world. All users agree not to impersonate others or use false identities.
Account Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your character credentials, including login and identification scrolls (username and password). All actions performed through your account, whether by you or others, are your sole responsibility.
Community Conduct: All Adventurers are expected to behave in a manner befitting the Realm. This includes respectful interactions, refraining from use of foul incantations, malicious third-party software, exploitative mechanics, or disruption of server rituals. Harassment, deceit, or misconduct may lead to sanctions, exile, or permanent banishment.
Content and Ownership: All in-game lore, visuals, names, titles, mechanics, and proprietary systems remain the sole property of the creators and loremasters of Emberwake. No part of the Service may be copied, resold, mirrored, or distributed without explicit written permission.
Purchasable Goods: The purchase of in-game items, flame-bound currency, or enhancements does not imply real-world value, nor does it create ownership beyond the scope of Emberwake. These elements are granted under a limited-use license and may be revoked or modified at any time.
Changes to the World: Emberwake is a living realm. Features, mechanics, and regions may shift, expand, or be rebalanced by decree of the Guildmasters. You understand and agree that your progress, inventory, or gameplay experience may evolve as the world unfolds.
Suspension and Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove access to the Service if you breach these terms, violate the peace of the realm, or compromise the safety of other players. You may also choose to abandon your character at any time, though no refunds will be issued for unspent coin or materials.
Disclaimer of Warranties: The Service is provided “as is” without any representation of reliability, uptime, or availability. While we strive to maintain a stable and immersive world, occasional maintenance windows, magical anomalies (bugs), or loss of progress may occur.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from use of the Emberwake platform. This includes, but is not limited to, disruptions, corrupted save data, or disbanded guilds.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through confidential arbitration conducted within the neutral halls of the Ember Council. Jurisdiction shall be determined based on the location of the Guildmasters.
Feedback and Suggestions: Players are encouraged to share ideas, report anomalies, and suggest balance changes using the in-game Feedback Tome or through official channels found within the Realm’s main gate. While we value all contributions, submission does not guarantee compensation, recognition, or implementation.

By continuing your journey through Emberwake, you affirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this binding pact. These terms may be revised without prior notice, and we recommend reviewing them periodically through the Chronicle of Laws section within your player journal.
